Jerome Chang

Jerome opened BLANKSPACES in Los Angeles way back in 2008, as the first coworking space in SoCal. The brand has grown to 4 locations, its latest in downtown Long Beach as a 3-way partnership with the City of Long Beach and the Long Beach City College.

Pay it forward is his modus operandi. In 2011, he co-founded LExC.co, the League of Extraordinary Coworking, which is a global network of like-minded coworking spaces who share best practices and enable its constituent members to use network spaces. In 2013, he co-founded Coshare.co, an industry association of coworking spaces.

Professionally, Jerome is a licensed architect with 20 years of experience. He typically designs commercial office spaces and restaurants. His background is in both civil and structural engineering.

Personally, Jerome is an active tennis and softball player, and skier and boarder. He was the triple threat in high school: academic geek, band nerd, and Eagle scout dork.
